Tech guru and Internet celebrity Guy Kawasaki got in touch with me prior to embarking on a self-publishing journey, searching for a copyeditor. Having seen his name on countless book jackets over the years, blurbing some really good books, I eagerly signed on. I've now copyedited three of Guy's books on an independent basis, and it's been terrific. He really knows how to make how-to fun and informative, and I'm always happy to work with any author to bring his or her geek expertise to a wider audience. 

The meta-story here is that one of Guy's books is about the technology of self-publishing. I think it will be an invaluable resource for authors who wish to go this route. 

I also love working on books about technology and its intersection with other aspects of our culture from traditional publishers.
